In the following months, several artistes collaborated with Reggaeton's biggest stars like Drake as well as Bad Bunny with MIA (2018), Madonna and Maluma and Medellin 2019 Some reggaeton artists expressed their displeasure at the rise of mainstream music in 2020. However, a brand newly formed group called Rauw Alejandro was determined to keep the development and growth of reggaeton. The musician incorporated electronic dance music and others into his music.
