Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on the 10th of March the year 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to the accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker as well as former worker in the factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone was thought to be gifted academically when she was a kid and started the second grade when she was five. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). She also competed and was crowned at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone relocated to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt, to explore a career as an actress. Within a month, she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. After one year of modeling in Milan and Paris and then moving to Europe. Stone however became disillusioned in Europe with the modelling business and decided to move to acting. Woody Allen's movie, "Stardust Memories", was a mixed success in her 20s.
